BISMARCK, ND – The 2021 University of Mary Hall of Fame class is represented by a national wresting champion, three All-Americans, the Marauders' first NCAA baseball All-Region selection, and the Marauders' 2003 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Final Four softball team.
The 2003 Marauders Softball Team, Laurie Fox Batchelor, Mike Feldman, Joe Koch, David St. Clair, and Monte Trusty will be inducted as the 29
th Hall of Fame class on October 8, 2021, during homecoming week at a banquet on the University of Mary campus. They join 114 previous individual inductees and seven teams in the Marauders Athletic Hall of Fame.
2003 Marauders Softball Team
The 2003 Marauders Softball Team went 5-2 at the NAIA World Series and advanced to the Final Four, the program's best finish at a national championship. Under the direction of Marauders Hall of Fame coach Brad Walsh, UMary finished the season 38-16 overall, winning the DAC-10 title with a record of 19-3 before winning the Region III Championship at home. Danelle Murphy was named the NAIA Region III Pitcher of the Year and Nicole Seaver claimed regional player of the year honors. Murphy was also the Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) 10 Most Valuable Player and was joined on the All-Conference team by Seaver, Amanda Hinton, Miranda Kephart, and Cassie Smith. Walsh earned DAC10 Coach of the Year. Murphy, Seaver, and Smith were all named to the NAIA All-Tournament Team.

Laurie Fox Batchelor (Cross Country – Track & Field, 1995-99)
One of the top distance runners in UMary history, Laurie Fox Batchelor was a three-time NAIA All-American in cross country. The NDCAC awarded her the Cross Country Most Valuable Performer in 1997 and was the Most Valuable Graduating Senior in 1999. The NDCAC and Regional Cross Country Champion in 1995, Fox Batchelor earned NAIA Academic All-American honors in 1997 and 1998.
Mike Feldman (Baseball 2005-08)
Mike Feldman had a tremendous senior season for the Marauders in 2008. The outfielder and pitcher from Bismarck, ND, was named to the All-Northern Sun 1
st Team, the only UMary baseball player to accomplish that feat until 2019. Feldman earned Second- Team All-Region honors from both Daktronics and ABCA/Rawlings, one of only two UMary players to earn that distinction during the program's NCAA era. A three-time NSIC Player of the Week in 2008, he ranks second all-time at UMary in hits and doubles, third in home runs and runs batted in, fourth in runs scored, and fifth in batting average.
Joe Koch (Men's Track & Field 1994-98)
A six-time All-American, Joe Koch is one of the Marauders' most decorated track and field athletes. Koch was an 11-time NDCAC champion, earned All-Conference honors 30 times, was the NDCAC Most Valuable Athlete seven times in his career, and earned NDCAC Most Outstanding Graduating Senior honors. A four-year team captain, Koch also coached for the Marauders after his college career.
David St. Clair (Football 1998-99)
The Marauders football all-time single season and career sack leader, David St. Clair earned Second-Team NAIA All-American honors in 1999. A two-time All-NDCAC defensive lineman (1998-1999), he posted a school-record 20 sacks as a senior in 1999 and finished his career with 30. He helped lead the Marauders to NDCAC titles and NAIA playoff appearances in both of his seasons at UMary.
Monte Trusty (Wrestling 1990-93)
The first University of Mary wrestler to win a national title, Monte Trusty was the 1992 NAIA National Champion and led the Marauders to a fourth place team finish. The NDCAC Champion in 1991 and 1992, Trusty earned NAIA All-American honors in 1991 after placing third in the country. He is the son of Marauders Hall of Fame wrestling coach Milo Trusty.
