BURNSVILLE, MN – For a fourth straight year the University of Mary finished in the top four of the Northern Sun All-Sports standings. The Marauders 18 NSIC sports combined to roll up the 4th-most points in the 15-team league for the 2024-25 season.
Overall the Marauders recorded 125.5 points with the UMary men's and women's programs closely mirroring one another. The eight UMary men's sports finished 4
th overall with 50.0 points. The ten UMary women's programs earned 75.5 points to finish tied for 5
th place, just one point out of 4
th place.
The previous three seasons UMary finished fourth in 2021-22 and 2022-23 before finishing a program-high third in 2023-24.
UMary closed out the 2024-25 NSIC athletic season in impressive fashion as both the men's and women's track & field teams claimed runner-up finishes at the 2025 outdoor championships. Additionally tennis placed fourth this spring, men's golf sixth, baseball seventh, women's golf tenth and softball 15
th.
During the 2024-25 winter season, UMary's women's track & field placed second at the indoor championships, men's track & field claimed third, women's basketball fifth, wrestling fifth, swimming & diving eighth and men's basketball 14
th.
During the 2024 fall sports season the Marauders placed second in the NSIC in women's cross country, fourth in men's cross country, fifth in women's soccer, 14
th in football and 15
th in volleyball.
The NSIC All-Sports Award is calculated by awarding the winner of each conference-sponsored championship points totaling the number of teams in that sport plus one. The next place finisher receives points totaling the number of teams less the number of places from first place. Ties in the standings at any level result in the totaling of points and equal distribution.
