BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary will be back in NSIC action this weekend after a few long-distance road trips to Indianapolis and Louisville and a postponed road dual against NSU. The Marauders will battle against not only the best in the Northern Sun this weekend but some of the best in the nation when they welcome #1 St. Cloud State and #17 Minnesota State to town. The Marauders battle the Mavericks on Friday, January 24 at 7 PM in the McDowell Activity Center. They follow that up with a dual against the defending national champs, St. Cloud State. UMary hosts the Huskies on Saturday, January 25 at 7 PM.
THE RECORD
The Marauders come in with a 2-4 record, beginning NSIC wrestling 0-1. SCSU has begun their season 10-0 and MSU has started 4-1.
LAST TIME OUT
The last two times the Marauders took the mat was at a pair of high caliber competitions. At the Midwest Classic,

th) both earned podium spots. Then, in the teams first ever appearance at the NWCA National Duals, UMary went 1-2 earning a win over #16 Lindenwood. The Marauders used a historic comeback against the Lions, winning six straight bouts from 157 lbs to heavyweight. The six straight wins accounted for 33 unanswered points to give UMary a 33-18 win. Of the six wins, four were by fall, one by technical fall, and one by major decision.
