Biography

Dante put together an impressive campaign in his first season as a Marauder. He registered an 11-4 record at 165 lbs. He captured the title at the Cobber Open and finished in 8th place at the prestigious Midwest Classic. He was ranked as high as 10th in the country before a season ending injury. The younger Springsteen tallied four major decisions and three falls during the year.

Dante Springsteen is the son of Felicia and Eastern Washington University Wrestling Alum Oscar Springsteen. Dante is from Graham, Washington and attended Bethel High School through 2017 in Spanaway Washington where he was awarded three letters in football and track, and four letters in judo and wrestling. While wrestling for Coach Mario Ragazzo, Dante was named team captain of his League Championship team and most inspirational during his 120 win high school career. Dante was named All-Conference three times, and qualified for the state tournament four times placing 3rd as a sophomore, and 2nd as a junior before capping his senior season off with a Washington State Championship. Dante transfers in from Division I Utah Valley University. Dante’s favorite athlete is Muhammad Ali, and his favorite team is the Seattle Seahawks. Dante’s favorite sports memory was wrestling state finals his junior year just before his brother, current wrestler and All-American for the Marauders, Phillip Springsteen. Dante’s hidden talent is his ability to play the saxophone. Dante plans to major Criminal Justice at the University of Mary.
