BISMARCK, ND—The 2019 inductees to the Marauders Hall of Fame include a national champion, three All-Americans and the University of Mary's first national semifinal football team.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Hartnell, Fischer, Hawley, Siqueira, and the 1995 Marauders football team is set for the 2019 Homecoming recognition banquet starting at 5:30 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2019, in the Lumen Vitae University Center's Founders Hall.
1995 Marauders Football Team
The 1995 UMary Football Team was the first of two Marauders teams to make it to the NAIA football final four, finishing 11-2 overall and 5-1 in the North Dakota College Athletic Conference (NDCAC). The Marauders defeated both Dickinson State and Sioux Falls in NAIA playoffs before falling in the national semifinals to Central Washington. Boasting an explosive offense and a rugged defense, the Marauders squad included All-Americans Steve Clooten, Bryon Hoff, and Jeremy Polson, and Marauders Hall of Famers Jon Ahneman, Clooten, Paul Cronin, and Neil MacDannald. Tom Shea, the head coach of the 1995 UMary team, is currently head coach at Upper Iowa, the Marauders homecoming opponent this fall.
Bridgit (Tollefsrud) Fischer (Softball 1996-99)
Bridgit (Tollefsrud) Fischer was a second-team All-American in 1999, a three-time All-Region selection, earned Academic All-American honors twice and was an All-NDCAC selection three times. She helped the Marauders reach the 1999 NAIA national tournament and win four straight NDCAC championships (1996-99).
Aaron Hartnell (Wresting 2000-04)
Aaron Hartnell won the 2003 NAIA national championship, just one of only 10 UMary wrestlers to win a national title. Additionally, he is just one of only six Marauders wrestlers to earn All-American honors four times in his career.
Marc Hawley (Men's Basketball 1995-97)
A third-team NAIA All-American, the Bismarck Tribune NDCAC Player of the Year in 1997, and an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, Marc Hawley helped the Marauders win the 1997 NDCAC title. Hawley, the school record holder for career blocked shots, was team MVP and a first-team All-NDCAC selection as a junior in 1995-96, his first of two seasons at UMary.
Flavia Siqueira (Women's Volleyball 2002-2004)
Flavia Siqueira earned honorable mention All-American and first-team All-DAC (Dakota Athletic Conference) recognition in 2004 after leading the Marauders to a conference title, the NAIA Region III title game and a record of 24-8 overall and 12-1 in the DAC. Siqueira, also a second-team All-DAC selection as junior in 2002, is the head volleyball coach for Auburn University at Montgomery.
