UMary Tennis Concludes Regular Season NSIC Play This Weekend Against UMD, SCSU

BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary Tennis team concludes NSIC play with matches against Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State this weekend. The Marauders will take on UMD on Saturday, March 30 at 3 PM. They will then battle SCSU on Sunday, March 31 at 8:30 AM. Both matches will take place in St. Cloud, MN.
 
The Marauders come into this weekend with a 12-3 record, going 6-3 in NSIC play. UMary is currently sitting in fourth place in the NSIC.
 
Minnesota Duluth comes into the game against the Marauders with an 8-2 record, going 5-2 in NSIC play. The Bulldogs currently sit in third place in the NSIC. UMD's two losses came at the hands of Augustana and Winona State.
 
St. Cloud State comes into the match against UMary with a 5-9 record going 2-6 in conference play. The Huskies two conference wins came over Minnesota Crookston and Southwest Minnesota State.
 
Tasha Dembo is tied for second in total wins (12) and has the second best win percentage in #1 singles in the conference (.800).
 
Yusra Hegy has the second best winning percentage in #2 singles (.846).
 
Jamie Stoppler is tied for second in total wins (12) and has the best winning percentage in the conference in #4 singles (.917).
 
The team of Jamie Stoppler and Danielle Wolf are an undefeated 14-0 in #2 doubles and lead all teams in winning percentage.
