Box Score BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary tennis teams hopes of knocking off NSIC powerhouse, Augustana came up short today with the Marauders getting shut out 7-0. 
 
The Marauders had their hands full during their season opener taking on an Augustana team who now has 100 straight regular season NSIC wins.
 
UMary dropped all three of their doubles matches. The closest match was a 6-2 loss by Kali Askvig and Danielle Wolf in #2 doubles. 
 
Tasha Dembo battled hard against Kornelia Staniszewska in #1 singles. The match between two of the NSIC's premier tennis players was the most competitive match of the day. Dembo fell 6-2, 7-5. 
 
Junior Danielle Wolf lost to Grace Goble 6-2, 6-1 in #4 singles. 
 
The Marauders fall to 0-1 on the season and 0-1 in the NSIC. Augie improves to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the Northern Sun.
 
UMary is back in action tomorrow, February 10 at 1 PM in the Capital Racquet and Fitness Center in Bismarck, ND. The Marauders will battle Sioux Falls.
