One more game on campus for Marauders men's soccer when Tigers visit Sunday

THIS WEEKEND
The Marauders return home this weekend to face Dakota Wesleyan University. The team will take on Dakota Wesleyan on Sunday, September 30, at 3 pm at the University of Mary Pitch.
 
SITE SWITCH
The September 30 match against Dakota Wesleyan will be played on the University of Mary campus. The game was originally scheduled for the MDU Resources Community Bowl.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The last time the University of Mary took to the pitch was up in Manitoba, Canada, against Brandon University. The Marauders dominated the match, holding a lead in nearly every statistical category. However, UMary just could not get the ball into the goal nearly as much as the Marauders would've liked, finishing the match in a 1-1 tie with the Bobcats.
 
THE RECORD
The Marauder currently hold a record of 2-4-1.
 
OPPO RESEARCH – Dakota Wesleyan University
The Tigers come into the match against the Marauders with a 2-4 record. The two games the Tigers won were by a score of 1-0. The four losses the Tigers have are by a total score of 17-1 combined.
 
LAST MEETING
The Marauders took on the Tigers for a scrimmage at the beginning of the year but the last time they played in regular season was during the 2017 season when the Marauders took home the victory by a score of 3-0. The Marauders had goals scored by Andre Almqvist, Zack Jensen and Alberto Asencio.
 
GOALLLLLLLLLLL
Adam Stringer continues to lead the team with two goals on the season. This past weekend Alberto Asencio was able to join the ranks of the scorers on the team by adding a goal to his stat line. The Marauders currently have four players who have scored goals this season.
 
A HELPING PASS
Four different Marauders have assists this season. Jaden Allen added his first assist of the season this past weekend against Brandon University when he headed the ball to an open Asencio for a goal. Mitch Carter, Blake Palmquist and Zack Jensen also have assists on the season.
 
DEFENSE!!!
Lukas Billhardt has faced 74 shots this season, only allowing in nine goals with five coming against the number one team in the country, Simon Fraser. Billhardt has a .700 save percentage on the season. He has pitched two different shutouts on the season.
