Bismarck, ND – Three All-Americans, a key performer on the University of Mary's best national softball finish and the head coach and his national semifinal football team are the 2018 inductees into the Marauders Hall of Fame.
Legendary Marauders head football coach Myron Schulz and his 1999 NAIA semifinal team, men's soccer All-American Levi Evans, wrestling All-American Wayne Harvison, track & field All-American Kotchi Prosper and Danelle Murphy, who led the Marauders softball team to fourth place at the 2003 NAIA Series, comprise the 27
th Marauders Hall of Fame class and will join 105 previous individual inductees and five teams in the Marauders athletic pantheon.
"The achievements of our 2017 Hall of Fame class are truly legendary," said Marauders Athletic Director
Dale Lennon. "As we move forward with several new initiatives in Marauders athletics, it is important for us to remember our history and honor the accomplishments of our greatest student-athletes, coaches and teams who have continued to set the bar high for all those who follow."
The Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Evans, Harvison, Murphy, Prosper, Schulz and the 1999 Marauders football team is set for the 2018 Homecoming weekend on Friday, October 12, 2018, in the Lumen Vitae University Center.
Levi Evans (Men's Soccer 1997-2000)
NAIA honorable mention All-American (2000)… Team MVP (2000)… 2x NAIA All-Region 1st team (1999, 2000)… was the Marauders team captain as a senior in 2003… led Marauders to a winning record in each of his last three seasons… Marauders were a combined 46-28-3 during his career… started 64 of the 68 games he played at UMary… Was the Marauders women's head coach for eight seasons (2004-11, record of 86-64-18)… A '02 (computer information systems BS), '07 (Master of Management) and '08 (MBA) University of Mary graduate.
Wayne Harvison (Wrestling 1994-98)
4-time NAIA All-American… One of only six 4-time All-American wrestlers at UMary… in 1995 finished 4
th in the nation at 177 pounds… in 1996 placed 7
th in the country at 177… in 1997 claimed 3
rd in the NAIA at 177… In 1998 was 4
th nationally at 184… Previously inducted into the Marauders Hall of Fame in 2011 as a member of the 1995-96 and 1996-97 UMary teams that finished as national runners up at the NAIA national championships… Also played on the 1998 Marauders football team that won an NDCAC title and made the NAIA playoff that was coached by current UMary Athletic Director

Danelle Murphy (Softball 2000-03)
2-time All-Region pitcher of the year… The 2003 DAC 10 Most Valuable senior at pitcher… 3x All-DAC 10 selection… In 2001 named All-DAC 10 team as a pitcher her sophomore year as Marauders won the DAC10 and Region III championship and went 1-2 at NAIA World Series… Named to the 2002 All-DAC 10 team as a pitcher as a junior as the Marauders again won the DAC10 and Region III championships before going 3-2 at NAIA World Series… As a senior in 2003 earned All-DAC10 honors as a pitcher, led the Marauders to the DAC10 regular season and tournament titles, won the Region III championship and helped UMary go 5-2 at the NAIA World Series… tossed three no-hitters as a senior… member of the NAIA World Series All-Tournament team… '04 (Computer Information Systems and Business Administration) and '06 (MBA) University of Mary graduate
Kotchi Prosper (Men's Track & Field 1993-98)
3-time NAIA All-American (indoor and outdoor in 1997, outdoor in 1998)… National runner-up in the triple jump at the 1997 outdoor championships… 9-time conference champion in the long and triple jumps… 3-time Marauders field events most valuable player… Team captain… remains Marauders triple jump record holder both inside (49' 8") and outside (50' 1")… '97 (Bachelor of Science in Social and Behavioral Science) University of Mary graduate.
Myron Schulz (Football head coach 1999-2013)
Most wins of any UMary football coach with a career record of 103-60 (next most wins by a coach is 46)… Led Marauders to nine straight winning seasons… Made six straight NAIA national playoff appearances and four conference titles in a six-year stretch (1999-2004)… Coached 19 All-Americans, 96 All-Conference players, 74 NSIC All-Academic team honorees and 23 NAIA All-Academic performers… Led Marauders through the transition from NAIA to NCAA… The Marauders had the nation's top defense in 2003, allowing just 225.2 yards/game… Member of the Marauders football coaching staff in 23 of the program's first 26 seasons… A University of Mary graduate with bachelor's degrees in social and behavioral sciences and physical education.
1999 Marauders Football team
NAIA Semifinalist in 1999 (one of only two Marauders football teams to reach the semifinals)… Head coach Myron Schulz… Finished 11-2 overall and 5-0 in the North Dakota College Athletic Conference… NDCAC champion… Set season school records for fewest yards allowed per game (178), fewest rushing yards allowed per game (35.6), fewest rushing yards per attempt (1.1), most yards gained rushing (2,729), touchdowns scored rushing (most touchdowns scored (65) and total points scored (460)… All-Americans that season included Eric Volk, David St. Claire, Seth Maier, Quintin Cradle, Kyle Sires and Jason Davis… Marauders Hall of Famer Chris Schwab was the senior quarterback… Seth Maier (80 receptions) and David St. Clair (20 sacks) still own Marauders single season records… Tied program record for wins in single season (11).
