Box Score FARGO, ND – Northern Sun Tennis Player of the Week Tasha Dembo continued her outstanding play for the University of Mary, picking up the lone Marauders win on the day in an 8-1 road loss to MSU Moorhead.
       
Dembo earned her fourth singles win in five starts. Competing at #1 singles, the freshman rolled to a 6-2, 6-4 win over Julia Geske for UMary's only victory, despite a couple close matches.
 
Dembo did suffer her first doubles loss. After winning her first four doubles matches while paired with Eileen Leong, Dembo and Emily Bichler suffered an 8-6 loss at #2 doubles, UMary's closest pairs match of the day.
 
In a narrow loss at #3 singles, freshman Kelly Lajom fell to Swenne Albert in a super tiebreaker 3-6, 6-3, 10-7.
 
Bichler also played a tight singles match, dropping a 6-4, 7-5 match at #6 singles to Alexis Koecne.
 
UMary returns to the court March 23 in a non-conference match at NCAA Division I North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND.
