Tahlequah, OK – The University of Mary women's basketball continues to catch the eyes of many with their impressive performances so far this season. The Marauders received votes in the D2SIDA Central Region poll released Mon., Dec. 10. This is the first time this season that UMary has received votes in the poll. 

The Marauders head into two big conference games this weekend with a 5-1 record and an undefeated 3-0 record in the NSIC. 

This is UMary's best start since the 2008-2009 season when the team also started 5-1. 

This is the first time the Marauders have started NSIC play 3-0.

UMary received two votes in this weeks poll. Augustana was the highest ranked team in the NSIC coming in at #2 while University of Sioux Falls was ranked #7. MSU Moorhead and Minnesota Crookston also received votes in the regional poll.

The Marauders look to continue their impressive season as they take to the road for their first NSIC road trip of the season. UMary will take on MSU Moorhead on Friday, December 14 at 5:30 PM and Northern State on Saturday, December 15 at 3:30 PM.
