THIS WEEK
The University of Mary take to the road this week and will crisscross the country. The Marauders first head to the west coast to take on Seattle Pacific on Thursday, October 4, at 7 pm PST (9 pm CST). The Marauders will then head down south to Lakeland, FL, to take on Florida Southern College at 7 pm ET (6 CST) on October 8.

LAST TIME OUT
The Marauders had two games over the past week. In the first match the Marauders hosted Dakota Wesleyan. In a game that the Marauders dominated statistically, it was the Tigers who were able to knock in a goal in double overtime to win 2-1. The next day the Marauders traveled down to Aberdeen, SD, to take on Presentation College. The match was yet another overtime thriller for the Marauders but this time UMary came out on the victorious end by a score of 2-1.

The Marauder currently hold a record of 3-5-1.

OPPO RESEARCH – Seattle Pacific
The Falcons come into the match against the Marauders with a 5-5 record. They started the season 0-3 and are 5-2 since. The Falcons are undefeated in home matches this season.

LAST MEETING
The Marauders took on the Falcons twice during the 2015 season. The first match was a Marauders home game that Seattle Pacific won by a score of 4-0. The Marauders then headed to Seattle later in the season for a rematch, the match was much closer but the Falcons still took home the victory winning 2-1.

OPPO RESEARCH – Florida Southern College
Florida Southern comes into the game against the Marauders with an impressive 9-0 undefeated record. The Mocs average nearly 3 goals per game while allowing an average of 0.22.

GOALLLLLLLLLLL
Alberto Asencio has recorded goals in two of the last three games to tie himself for the team lead in goals.
Gabriel Carvalho earned himself a share of the lead with his game-winning overtime goal against Presentation College.
Adam Stringers also has two goals on the season.
Blake Palmquist added himself the stat line by recording his first goal of the season against Presentation College.

A HELPING PASS
Four different Marauders have assists this season.
Jaden Allen,
Mitch Carter,
Blake Palmquist and
Zack Jensen all have assists on the season. The last three goals by the Marauders have either been unassisted or penalty shots.

DEFENSE!!!
The Marauders defense has been stout the last couple games. The Marauders have only allowed 13 shots on goal over the past three games.
Lukas Billhardt allowed just four of those shots to sneak past him over the past three games.

OT
The Marauders have played in three overtime matches this season, and they all just so happen have occurred during the last three games. The first OT match resulted in a tie, the second in a loss and the third in a win.
