FARGO, N.D., and BROOKINGS, S.D. - Breaking his own school record,
Chris Jessop recorded an NCAA provisional qualifying time at the SDSU Indoor Classic in Brookings S.D., while
Dustin Rueb claimed a pair of top three efforts at the Thundering Herd Classic in Fargo, N.D., to key the University of Mary men's indoor track & field efforts on the weekend.

SDSU INDOOR CLASSIC HIGHLIGHTS
In a strong field, Jessop placed fifth overall in the 5,000 meter run with a clocking of 14:40.89. A senior from Corvallis, Mont., his time was the Marauders lone NCAA provisional qualifying mark of the weekend and a nearly six second improvement over his best clocking of the year.

THUNDERING HERD HIGHLIGHTS
Rueb placed second in the high jump, clearing the bar at 6-08.75. He finished just 2" out of first. The senior from Beulah, N.D., also took third in the long jump with a top mark of 21-05.50.

Nathan Inkman claimed fourth at NDSU in the 800 meter run with a clocking of 1:58.68.

Beau Nutting finished in the top six in three different events. The sophomore from Gillette, Wyo., earned a slot in the 60 meter hurdle finals with a qualifying time of 8.95 seconds. He ran a 9.02 in the finals to place fifth. Nutting also claimed sixth place in both the long jump (20-04.50) and the triple jump (42-01.50).

Colten Stoltz advanced to the finals of the 60 meter dash, taking eighth in a time of 7.38 seconds.

The Marauders next compete at the Bemidji State Twilight on February 19.
