JAMESTOWN, N.D. – For the third time in four weeks, jumper Aaron Teigen swept his two events and the University of Mary men's outdoor track & field team tallied six total crowns at the 2015 Al Cassell Relays.
Teigen, named the NSIC men's field athlete of the week after the Mary home event on April 12, once again claimed both the triple jump and the long jump. The senior from Rugby, N.D., won the triple jump with a leap of 14.73 meters, an NCAA division II provisional qualifying mark. Is was the lone Mary provo mark of the day. Teigen won the long jump with a distance of 7.08 meters.
Fellow senior Jordan Washington won the 400 meter dash in a time of 49.23 seconds, just .15 seconds ahead of the runner-up.
