WWU: The Vikings took the first match between the two teams, 3-1, over the Marauders. SFU: The Clan fell in the first match to the Marauders as U-Mary took the match 1-0 off an extremely late goal in the 89th minute to upset the perennial GNAC contenders. Since then, Simon Fraser is 5-3-4 overall, 4-2-3 GNAC, with  two wins over Saint Martin's, a split with Seattle Pacific, a win against Northwest Nazarene, and draws against Montana State University-Billings and Concordia (Ore.). #6 Adam Jones continues to power the offense with six goals and two assists on the year, while #19 Kyle Jones provides the secondary look with three goals and three assists. #15 Mamadi Camara will be a tertiary option as he is second on the team with four goals on the year so far. #22 Brandon Watson has started every match in the net for the Clan and has only allowed 11 goals while making 32 saves for a .744 save percentage. Next Week: The Marauders continue their long road trip when they pay a visit to Seattle Pacific on Thursday, October 29, before traveling to Saint Martin's on Saturday, October 31 to wrap up their annual visit to the state of Washington.

Last Week: U-Mary found a potent offensive combination as they scored four goals on the weekend against tough conference opponents Concordia (Ore.) and Northwest Nazarene. Unfortunately it wasn't enough, despite the Marauders owning a lead in both matches, as they eventually fell 3-2 against the Cavaliers and the Crusaders. André Almqvist and Jordan Pearce provided the goals against Concorda (Ore.) and Pearce provided an extremely fast goal against Northwest Nazarene merely 23 seconds into the match while James Liddiard provided the backend goal in the hopes of pulling a draw.
