Box Score Bismarck, ND—For the second straight night the University of Mary (0-4, 0-2 GNAC) men's soccer team failed to score and for the second straight night they fell 1-0.
Stephen MacDonald scored Seattle Pacific's (4-1, 2-0 GNAC) goal in the 54th minute. The tightly contested match saw six yellow cards and a total of 25 fouls.
Jack West started in net for the Marauders and finished with six saves. SPU's Cody Lang picked up his third shutout of the season stopping all four shots he faced.
Jordan Pearce registered two of U-Mary's for shots on goal.
The shots were even at 13 a piece, but the Falcons had a 7-4 edge in shots on frame. Seattle Pacific had a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.
U-Mary will be in action next as they head to Bellingham, WA to take on Western Washington University on Sept. 26 at 9:30 PM.
