Box Score Nampa, ID—In search of their first GNAC win of the season, the University of Mary (0-6, 0-4) fell to Northwest Nazarene University (1-3-3 1-2-1). The Crusaders got on the board twice before half en route to a 4-0 win over the Marauders.
Midfielder Jonathon Sellars mustered two shots on goal for U-Mary but was unable to connect on either.
Forward Fredy Razo scored a goal and added two assists for NNU. Jaime Torres provided a spark off the bench for the Crusaders picking up an assist on all four goals.
Northwest Nazarene drew first blood in the 43rd minute and just 10 seconds later U-Mary's Aaron Mc Elwee picked up a yellow card. The card set up the Crusaders second goal of the night as they scored just 15 second later.
With a 2-0 lead going into intermission, NNU scored just seven and a half minutes into the second period. The Crusaders added a goal in the 62nd minute for insurance as they cruised to a 4-0 victory.
U-Mary will be back in action on Saturday as they take on Montana State University-Billings on the road.
