Box Score Sioux Falls, SD – Down early, the Marauders were able to battle back to tie the game, but unable to take the lead as they went on to tie the University of Sioux Falls Cougars 1-1.

Appearing to not be ready for the attempt, U-Mary gave up a goal to Sioux Falls' Ryan Koehane on a free kick in the 28th minute. Tightening up their focus, the Marauders were able to hold the Cougars (1-8-1, 1-5-1 GNAC) scoreless from that point on.

Down at halftime, the Marauders answered back in the 63rd minute as Alex Boyes scored his fifth goal of the season. Coming off of a free kick by Aaaron Mc Ewlee, the score tied the game at 1-1.

The two teams would remain tied heading into overtime. Each team was able to get a shot on goal in the first overtime period, but that was it as the two teams tied 1-1.

With the tie the Marauders move to 3-6-2 on the season and 2-4-1 in the GNAC. U-Mary will be back on the road again next weekend as they head west to take on Simon Fraser and Western Washington.
