Last week the Marauders had a disappointing trip to the west coast. First up was the third ranked Simon Fraser University. Despite their national ranking, the Marauders had high hopes going into the game. The last time these two teams played the Marauders forced overtime, but eventually lost 3-2. Simon Fraser was determined not to let U-Mary stick around, however, as they cruised to a 5-0 run. After the disappointing showing against Simon Fraser, U-Mary was unable to bounce back against Western Washington as they fell 4-0. The Marauders got down early and were never able to get anything going offensively.
