2021 (Senior)
Did not compete in the 2021 season.

2020 (Senior)
Phillip competed at 174 lbs where he earned an 11-5 record. Phillip tallied one major decision, one technical fall, and five pins. He took 2nd place at NCAA DII Super Regional V. He punched his ticket for the second time to the NCAA National Championships. He earned the 8th seed at the 2020 NCAA Championships ( the NCAA Tournament was canceled due to COVID-19 ). Phillip was named an All-American by the National Wrestling Coaches Association. He was voted the Best on Top Award by his teammates for the End
of the Season Awards.

2019 (Junior) 
Bumping up to 174 lbs. as a redshirt-sophomore, Phillip had no problem with the extra weight posting a 21-6 record earning eight pins, and three major decisions. Phillip placed 3rd at the Dragon Open, and solidified his national presence by winning the Midwest Classic. Phillip set himself up for a good post season after dominating opponents during the regular season in duals, then placing 3rd at the NCAA Super Regional V tournament, becoming a NCAA DII national qualifier. Phillip put on quite a show in Cleveland, Ohio at the NCAA DII National Championship, becoming an All-American by placing 7th at 174 lbs. Phillip was honored as Most Valuable Wrestler at the UMary Wrestling Banquet for his bonus point performances in duals and at the national tournament.

2018 (Sophomore)
Phillip competed at 165 pounds in his first official season. With a record of 24-8, Phillip dominated in the top position, leading the team with ten falls, and 12 riding time points. Phillip finished as champion at the Dakota Wesleyan Open, 5th place at the Cobber Open, and 7th at the Midwest Classic where he was awarded the Most Falls Award. Phillip was in the top ten nationally for most falls in leas amount of time.
 
2017 (Freshman)
Did not compete due to a season ending injury in the preseason.
 
PRIOR TO UMARY
A three-sport athlete from Spanaway, Wash., Phillip Springsteen competed in wrestling, football, and track and field. Springsteen already has an illustrious career at Bethel High School where he placed first at the SPSL League Tournament as a freshman in 2013 at 113 pounds, while also earning a seventh place finish at the 4A State Tournament. As a sophomore, Phillip placed first once again at the SPSL League Tournament at 126 pounds, while improving his place to 4th at the 4A State Tournament. As a junior, Springsteen placed third at the 4A State Tournament at 145 pounds while placing fourth at the SPSL League Track Meet in the pole vault after clearing a height of 12'6".
