2019-2020
Appeared in 27 games... Averaged 26.6 minutes per game... Recorded 388 points, 218 rebounds, 31 assists, and 24 steals earning him NSIC 2nd Team All-Conference on the year. Tied a career-high 27 points against Winona State Feb. 8... Won his second NSIC Player of the Week honor on Dec. 23... Set the University of Mary Career Blocks Record with 109 blocks on Jan. 11... Set the University of Mary Single Season Blocks Record with 55 against Upper Iowa on Feb. 26

Appeared in all 29 games… Averaged 27.9 minutes per game… recorded 340 points, 161 rebounds, 39 assist, and 53 blocks. Scored a career-high 27 points to lead all scorers in an 83-66 victory over Bemidji State. Shot 10-of-14 from the floor, 7-7 on free throws, 6 rebounds and added an assist and a block.

PRIOR TO UMARY
A two-sport athlete at Delano High School in Delano, Minn., Matt Kreklow plays both basketball and football for the Tigers. He missed the 2014-15 boys basketball season with an ankle injury. As a sophomore Kreklow helped Delano record a record of 17-11 and advance to the Class AAA Section 5 title game. In the summer of 2015 he played with the Minnesota Comets, one of the top AAU basketball programs in the state.
 
The son of Mike and Marcia Kreklow, two of Matt's older brothers played at the University of South Dakota. He also has a sister who played volleyball at the University of Missouri and is a candidate for the 2016 United States Olympic team.

As a Senior, Kreklow led his team to a 22-7 record.  He attained all-conference honors as well as being selected to the Minnesota Basketball Coaches’ Association all-star game.  Matt Averaged 16 points per game and set school records for blocks (119) and rebounds (333) in a season.  He also set school records for blocks (12) and rebounds (23) in a game.  In addition to his basketball accolades, Kreklow was a captain and tight-end for a district championship winning football team and was an all-district football player.
