Indoor - Competed at the NSIC Championships in the 1000m (13th, 3:07.28). Set PRs in the 1000m (3:05.23), 800m (2:22.09), and the Mile (5:31.63). Earned first collegiate victory in the 1000m at the Marauders Tune-Up.
Outdoor - Competed at the NSIC Championships in the 3000m Steeplechase (15th, 12:13.13), setting a PR. 

PRIOR TO UMARY

HIGH SCHOOL: All-Conference in Track and Field in 2024. Team Captain in Cross Country in 2023 and 2024. Cross Country Team MVP in 2023 and 2024. All-Conference in Nordic Skiing in 2023 and 2024. Team Captain in Nordic Skiing in 2023 and 2024. Nordic Skiing Team MVP in 2023.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Jean Heilman and Mike Engels. Majoring in Environmental Engineering. Mother ran cross country and track at St. Olaf College. Father played lacrosse at Michigan State University. Sister Grete is currently on the nordic skiing team at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay.
