Samantha competed in the 200, 400 and 600M with season bests 26.75, 1:01.71, and 1:46.14 respectively.

2018-2019
As a freshman, Samantha competed in the open 400 and 200 events throughout the indoor and outdoor seasons.

PRIOR TO UMARY
Sam is a graduate of St. Francis High School located in Mountain View, California. She began running track her freshman year and was a varsity member her sophomore through senior years. She was a captain of the team her junior and senior years and received the Most Inspirational team member award in those years as well. She is a 400 runner with a PR of 59.41 and was a member of the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams. She is the daughter of Andrew and Raquel Garlick and is majoring in Accounting.
