Biography

2013

Shelby appeared in 17 games with 17 starts as a junior, finishing the year with 1520 minutes played.  She made 99 saves while only giving up 30 goals which earned her a save % of .767.  She ended the year with a goals allowed average of 1.78 while finishing with four shutouts.
 
Shelby earned her first shutout in the season opener against Minot State on Sept. 5, the second came against Sioux Falls on Sept. 21, the third came against Wayne State College on Oct. 18, and the last came against Minnesota Crookston on Oct. 27.  She made a season high 11 saves in a 2-2 tie against Augustana on Oct. 20.
 
In Marauders D-II history Shelby is sixth in goals allowed average with 1.71, fourth in shutouts with four, and sixth in save % with .770.
 
Shelby’s efforts on the field helped her earn a 2013 NSIC All-Conference honorable mention.
