Emily appeared in 16 games with 16 starts as a sophomore, finishing the year with 1377 minutes played.  She ended the season with two assists and two points, as well as 14 shots with nine of them on goal.
 
Emily registered one assist in two separate games, the first against Augustana on Oct. 20, and the second against MSU Moorhead on Nov. 1.  She also four shots with three coming on goal in the Oct. 27 match against Minnesota Crookston, both are season highs.
 
In Marauder D-II history, Emily currently ranks tied for 10th in assists with five.

2012
 
Appeared in and started all 18 games … played a team-high 1591 minutes … scored first career goal and had first career assist against Northern State (10/26) … finished season with one goal and two assists.

BEFORE U-MARY
Emily Christensen led Minot (N.D.) High School to the past two state tournaments, including a runner-up finish as a sophomore in 2010. The native of Minot, N.D., earned second-team all-state honors as a junior in 2011 and has also registered All-West Region and all-state tournament recognition.

Emily, whose older brother Logan plays soccer for the U-Mary men's team, is the daughter of Dale and Ann Christensen. A four-year academic award winner in high school, she will pursue a biology degree at U-Mary.
