UMary women’s golf heads to Missouri for NSIC Conference Preview

BLUE POINT, MO – University of Mary women's golf will get its first look at the site of this year's NSIC Championships at the NSIC Conference Preview on March 30 and 31. The meet will be held at the Adams Pointe Golf Club in Blue Point, MO.

Live results from the meet can be found here. Tee times are staggered, with UMary's golfers split between 10:00 a.m., 10:10, and 10:20. The Marauders will be represented by Annie Neva, Demi Bolin, Sydney Miller, Alyssa Harcharik, and Ruby Heydt. This will be the first time in program history that the Marauders will compete at the Adams Pointe Golf Club.

LAST TIME OUT
UMary opened the spring season with a 9th place finish at the SMSU Classic in Arizona. Annie Neva topped the leaderboard for the Marauders in 22nd.

LOOKING BACK
The Marauders ended the year with a 10th place finish at the NSIC Championships. Then-freshman Annie Neva led the way with a 16th-place finish. Following her was Carrie Carmichael (32nd), Grace Stroh (41st), and Abby Thelen (49th).

As a result of her strong performance, Neva was named UMary's NSIC Athlete to Watch. Neva started her collegiate career very impressively with three consecutive top-5 finishes.

GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Following her stellar performance at the Tracy Lane Memorial Invitational, sophomore Annie Neva was named the NSIC Co-Golfer of the Week. Neva had the lowest round of any golfer in the tournament and claimed the fourth top-5 finish of her young career. 

PRESEASON POLL
UMary was ranked 9th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Marauders return most of their roster, with Stroh being the only player from the conference championship squad that is no longer with the team.

NEW FACES
Demi Bolin and Sydney Miller were added to the team this year as first-year players. Bolin was an All-Conference golfer in Indiana. Miller was an All-State team captain of the Minnesota Class AA state champions, Detroit Lakes High School.
