BEMIDJI, MN – The University of Mary women's golf team begins its 2025-26 season where it started last year, the Tracy Lane Memorial Tournament in Bemidji, MN. The two-day tournament commences on Monday, Sept. 8 from the Bemidji Town and Country Club.
UMary will be joined by seven other Northern Sun schools at the tournament.

LAST TIME IN BEMIDJI
UMary opened its season with a victory at the Tracy Lane Memorial Tournament.
Carrie Carmichael was the individual champion of the tournament with a 160 (+16), winning by two strokes. Other scorers for UMary included

th), and
Grace Stroh (17
th). It was the first of two victories last year for the Marauders.
LOOKING BACK
The Marauders ended the year with a 10
th place finish at the NSIC Championships. Then-freshman
Annie Neva led the way with a 16
th-place finish. Following her was

Grace Stroh (41
st), and
Abby Thelen (49
th).
As a result of her strong performance, Neva was named UMary's NSIC Athlete to Watch. Neva started her collegiate career very impressively with three consecutive top-5 finishes.
PRESEASON POLL
UMary was ranked 9
th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Marauders return most of their roster, with Stroh being the only player from the conference championship squad that is no longer with the team.
NEW FACES
Demi Bolin and
Sydney Miller were added to the team this year as first-year players. Bolin was an All-Conference golfer in Indiana. Miller was an All-State team captain of the Minnesota Class AA state champions, Detroit Lakes High School.
