WAYNE, NE – After 36 holes of golf, the University of Mary women's golf team placed 10
th at the WSC Wildcat Classic with a team score of +101.
Emily St. Aubin led the way for the Marauders as she shot a 167 (83-84) over the two rounds to finish in a tie for 41
st. Following St. Aubin was
Carrie Carmichael, who posted a score of 168 (79-89) to earn a tie for 44
th.
Grace Stroh (85-86) and
Abby Thelen (87-84) both finished in a tie for 49
th after shooting a 171 on the day. Rounding out the UMary line was
Anna Graveline, who placed in a tie for 78
th as she shot 188 (90-98) over two rounds of golf.
Augustana University won the event with a team score of +31 followed by Wayne State College (+52), University of Nebraska at Kearney (+56), MSU Mankato (+60), Iowa Western (+64), Winona State University (+68), University of Sioux Falls (+68), Morningside University (+86), Concordia University, St. Paul (+93), UMary (+101), Briar Cliff University (+113), Upper Iowa University (+115), Bemidji State University (+146), Black Hills State University (+150).
The Marauders next competition is the NSIC Women's Golf Championships set for April 26-28 at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex in Smithville, MO.
