LITCHFIELD PARK, AZ - The University of Mary women's golf team recorded a ninth-place finish out of 12 teams at the SMSU Challenge after posting a total team score of 680.
"This tournament performance was solid, but there's always room for improvement. We are already analyzing areas for improvement. Every round is a learning experience, and we're committed to refining our skills for the next tournaments," said UMary head coach

Carrie Carmichael placed in a tie for 24
th as the sophomore shot 78 on day one and 83 on day two to give her a two-day score of 161.
Emily St. Aubin improved tremendously on day two, shooting an 80 after posting an 88 on day one as she finished 40
th.
Abby Thelen tied for 50
th after the Avon, MN, native recorded a total score of 174.
Grace Stroh took 56
th with a combined score of 177.
Finishing off the UMary lineup was
Anna Graveline, who grabbed 64
th with a two-day score of 185.
The Marauders return to the golf course next month at the Augustana Spring Invite from April 8-9 in Sioux Falls, SD at the Elmwood Golf Course.
