Carrie Carmichael leads the way for the University of Mary women's golf team as UMary takes ninth place out of 12 teams after shooting a combined score of 672 at the SMSU Spring Invitational.
Carmichael finished in a tie for 27
th after the Williston, ND, native shot 81 on day one and 79 on day two for a combined score of 160.
Abby Thelen placed in a tie for 39
th after posting a two-day score of 166.
Grace Stroh took 53
rd as the Bismarck, ND, native shot 172 over the two days.
Emily St. Aubin would take 54
th place after she recorded a total score of 174. Rounding out the UMary lineup was
Anna Graveline (181), who finished in a tie for 62
nd place.
"We started off slow but got back with improving our final day scoring. We have to find a way to limit the bigger scores, which I think we will," said UMary women's golf coach

The Marauders remain in Litchfield Park, AZ, to take part in the SMSU Challenge from March 7-8 tee times are scheduled for 9:40 am.
