Lane Ewing took down the 157-pound weight class at the DWU Open. Ewing went 5-0 at the open, winning one match by tech fall and two by major decision. The Douglas, WY, native earned NSIC Wrestler of the Week honors for his performance.

BSC returns to wrestling after a 26-year hiatus. The Mystics are led by head coach Jeff Schumacher. Schumacher is a five-time finalist for National High School Wrestling Coach and a member of the North Dakota State Coaches Hall of Fame.

The Marauders are ranked 18th in the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division II Men's Coaches Poll released October 18.

REECE BARNHARDT NAMED WRESTLER TO WATCH
Three-time NCAA All-American
Reece Barnhardt was named the University of Mary Wrestler to Watch by the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Barnhardt took fourth at 133 pounds at the 2024 NCAA Wrestling Championships. Last season, the senior earned 2023-24 NSIC wrestling First-Team All-Conference honors after winning the NCAA Super Regional V.

Coming off a season that saw two wrestlers earn NCAA All-American honors, the Marauders are projected to finish 4
th in the NSIC.
"This year's team is comprised of some seasoned veterans along with some talented newcomers. They are a fun group of young men that everyone enjoys being around. They are all team-first guys who care about one another and are willing to make investments in themselves to collectively help the program pursue excellence on and off the mat.
