CEDAR FALLS, IA - The #15 University of Mary wrestling team travels to Cedar Falls, IA, to compete in the NWCA Division II National Duals beginning on Friday, January 5, and concluding on Saturday, January 6.

The Marauders open their bracket against #4-seeded Lake Erie College at 2 pm on Friday. The Marauders dual against Lake Erie will feature ten nationally ranked wrestlers.

UMary's next matchup will be at 4 pm against either St. Cloud State University or Newberry.

The NWCA National Duals will be held in the University of Northern Iowa's UNI-Dome and features 16 NCAA Division II squads.

Last year, UMary finished third in the 2023 NWCA Division II National Duals… The Marauders are coming off a fifth-place finish at the 44
th Midwest Classic on December 16-17.

BRUSS EARNS 100TH WIN, ONE AWAY FROM ALL-TIME RECORD
Max Bruss became the second UMary athlete to get 100 NCAA wins. Bruss is now tied with former teammate Tate Barnhardt for most wins in a UMary career with 103. Bruss is currently ranked number five in the country and is coming off a year where he earned All-American status after taking 5th place in the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships.

The Marauders are ranked 15th in the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division II Men's Coaches' Poll released December 4. UMary was ranked 9th in the preseason poll and reached as high as 5
th already this season, a program-best.
