THIS WEEK
The #15 University of Mary wrestling team is set for a pair of road duals against #4 University of Wisconsin-Parkside and Minnesota State University – Mankato.
UMary travels to Kenosha, WI to challenge UW Parkside on Friday, January 12, at 5Â pm (please note updated time). The Marauders then head to Mankato, MN, on Saturday, January 13, at 7 pm to compete against the Mavericks.

UW-Parkside is 4-0 on the year and 2-0 in the Northern Sun. Last year, the Rangers finished 11-0 overall and took 15
th in the NCAA Championships. UW-Parkside has seven wrestlers nationally ranked.
MSU is 3-0 on the season thus far. Last season, the Mavericks went 5-7 and 2-7 in the Northern Sun. MSU took 25
th in the NCAA Championships last year.Â

LAST TIME OUT
The Marauders took sixth in the NWCA National Duals after finishing 3-2 over the two days. UMary opened with an impressive 21-17 victory over #5 Lake Erie College. The Marauders then fell 26-9 to #6 St. Cloud State University. UMary then earned back-to-back victories over #25 Glenville State University (25-13) and #10 McKendree University (19-19, advanced on tiebreaker). The Marauders were unable to overcome #7 University of Nebraska at Kearney, losing 24-13.

Max Bruss went 4-1 in the NWCA National Duals including an impressive 6-0 decision victory over #1 James Penfold.

Matt Kaylor went 4-1 over the two days, including an impressive 5-2 sudden victory over #5 Jackson Kinsella.

BRUSS BECOMES ALL-TIME WINS LEADER IN NCAA HISTORY
Max Bruss now holds the record for most NCAA wins in UMary history with 107 wins. Bruss surpassed his former teammate Tate Barnhardt (103 wins) for most wins in a UMary career. Bruss is currently ranked number five in the country and is coming off a year where he earned All-American status after taking 5th place in the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships.

The Marauders are ranked 15th in the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division II Men's Coaches' Poll released December 4. UMary was ranked 9th in the preseason poll.
