BISMARCK, ND – The #20 University of Mary wrestling team (9-1, 3-1 Northern Sun) hosts #10 Augustana University in a battle of two nationally ranked programs on Sunday, February 6, at 2 pm.

Railway Credit Union sponsors the Marauders wrestling dual on Sunday against AU. Fans can stop by Railway Credit Union to claim complimentary tickets.
Veterans and active-duty service members plus a guest will be admitted free with their military ID.

National Rankings
UMary is ranked 20^th according to the most recent NWCA Division II Regular Season Poll. The Marauders have four wrestlers that are nationally ranked.

Reece Barnhardt is ranked eighth in the 133-pound weight class. Braydon Huber is ranked tenth for the 157-pound weight class. Matthew Kaylor is ranked tenth for the 197-pound weight class. Max Bruss is ranked ninth in the 174-pound weight class. Bruss ranks 8^th for pinfalls in NCAA Division II.

Last Time Out
The Marauders won both of their home duals last weekend over nationally ranked teams. UMary defeated #21 Southwest Minnesota State University 28-10 and Minnesota State University – Mankato 25-11.

Jaden Verhagen was named the Northern Sun North Wrestler of the Week for his efforts against SMSU and MSU.

\Verhagen opened the weekend with an impressive performance against SMSU's Jackson Stauffacher, pinning Stauffacher at the 2:30 mark. Stauffacher was undefeated before their match and is ranked fifth in the region.

The Kaukauna, WI, native would then go on to beat MSU's All-American #10 Trenton McManus by a 5-2 decision.

About the Opposition
Augustana University is ranked 10^th according to the latest NWCA Division II Regular Season Poll. AU has five wrestlers that have earned a national ranking.

Jaxson Rohman is ranked fourth at 125 pounds. Jack Huffman is ranked sixth for the 133-pound weight class. Cade Muller earned a seventh-place ranking at 174 pounds. Kolby Kost is ranked 12^th at 184 pounds. Steven Hajas Jr. is ranked eighth at 285 pounds.

Returners
Coming off an All-American season last year, Braydon Huber was named the University of Mary wrestling team's Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Athlete to Watch. Huber earned All-Conference honors after finishing eighth in the NCAA Championships at 165 pounds.

Max Bruss also qualified for the NCAA Championships at 174 pounds but fell just short of All-American status, losing two matches by just one point.

Other notable returners include Dom Tudor and Matthew Kaylor, who both placed at the NCAA Division II Super Regional V tournament.

New Faces
The Marauders bring in eight freshmen who will look to make an immediate impact in the 2021-22 season. Those nine include Reece Barnhardt, Chase Milligan, Preston Owens, Dante Roggio, Roddy Romero III, Ryan Scherber, Wyatt Schneider and Luke Tweeton.
