BISMARCK, ND – In an exciting back and forth dual, the University of Mary wrestling (10-2, 4-2 Northern Sun) rallied back to defeat Minot State University (2-6, 1-5 NSIC), winning the "Battle for the Barrel". The Marauders trailed 12-6 before coming back and winning 18-17.
Jaden Verhagen (125) kicked off the night as he would lose an exciting dual to Oscar Nellis by a 12-10 sudden victory.

Reece Barnhardt (133) earned UMary their first point of the dual, defeating Brandon Meikel by a 6-1 decision.
Laken Boese (141) would then grind out a 5-3 decision win over Kelby Armstrong.
Lincoln Turman (149) would fall to Shadi Mitwalli by an 8-6 decision.
Devin Steidler (157) lost to Nathan Baca by pinfall at the 3:00 mark.
Leo Mushinsky (165) got the Marauders back on track as he would defeat Cannon Potts by an 8-2 decision.

Max Bruss (174) then put in an impressive performance against Cayden White, winning by a technical fall.
Wyatt Lidberg (184) lost a close contest to Keegan Berry by a 3-1 decision.

Matthew Kaylor (197) earned a huge win over Dustin Swisher by a 9-0 major decision. MSU was docked one point for coach misconduct during the match.
Gerardo Jaime (285) would lose in the final match of the dual by a 3-0 decision to Jordan Will.
