BISMARCK, ND - In a battle of two nationally ranked programs, the #20 University of Mary wrestling team (8-1, 2-1 Northern Sun) would showcase dominance in a 28-10 victory over #21 Southwest Minnesota State University (1-3, 1-3 NSIC).

Leo Mushinsky (165) kicked off the dual as he would grind out a 5-3 decision win over Nathan Moore.

#9 Max Bruss (174) would then cruise to an 8-1 decision win over Carter Marx.

Wyatt Lidberg (184) would lose to #4 Caden Steffen after a hard-fought contest via a 4-0 decision.

#10 Matthew Kaylor (197) would get the Marauders back on track as would win a 9-1 major decision over Dillon McEachran.

Dominic Tudor (285) fell short in his matchup with Jacob Dykes, losing via an 8-4 decision.

The next contest was a thrilling match as Jaden Verhagen (125) pinned Jackson Stauffacher at the 2:30 mark.

#8 Reece Barnhardt (133) would take home the victory in a hard-fought battle via a 5-2 decision against Hunter Pfantz.

Laken Boese (141) kept UMary's momentum going as she would earn an 8-5 decision win over Luke Peterson.

Devin Steidler (149) lost to Robert Shields via a 9-1 major decision.

#10 Braydon Huber (157) closed out the dual in style for the Marauders, earning UMary six points by pinning Lucas Hodges at the 6:26 mark.
