Big week of training for Marauders leads to big performances against Wolves

ABERDEEN, SD - The University of Mary women's soccer team was victorious 3-0 in their exhibition over Northern State University.

"The result was the work of a fabulous week of training as the girls were excellent in their preparation for this game," Marauders head coach Sarah Cook said.

Emma Davies kicked off the scoring for the Marauders as she grabbed her second goal of the season in the 34th minute after Elizabeth Gilbertson earned her first assist for UMary.

In the 50th minute, Emma Snider added her second goal of the season coming off an assist from Hannah Richter.

Richter finished off the scoring for the Marauders in the 76th minute after Emma Davies found her open to make the score 3-0 in favor of UMary.

Madisyn Waltman earned herself a clean sheet after she made four saves, shutting out the Wolves attack.

The Marauders will travel next to Moorhead, MN as they take on MSU Moorhead in a regular-season game on Tuesday, March 30, at 2 pm.
