ABERDEEN, SD – In their final nonconference games of the season, the University of Mary softball team fell in both games of a doubleheader against Southwest Minnesota State University. The Marauders lost the first game 4-0 and the second game 8-0.
GAME 1 University of Mary 0 Southwest Minnesota State University 4
The Mustangs took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second after Lileya Kebos hit a solo home run. SMSU scored three more runs in the fifth inning to extend its lead to 4-0. UMary was unable to score as the Marauders left five runners on base.

The Marauders offense again struggled in game 2 as they were unable to score against the Mustangs and left five runners on base. SMSU scored one run in the bottom of the second, before exploding for four runs in the third inning. The Mustangs added two more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
