2021 (Junior)
Led the team with 37 hits as Sanchez maintained a .285 batting average. Started all 41 games at UMary and had 72 putouts and only one error giving her a .986 fielding percentage.

2020 (Sophomore)
As a sophomore, Mariah recorded 18 hits, 9 RBI with a .277 average. Sanchez took over as the lead-off hitter while maintaining a .377 on base percentage. In a very short season, Mariah continued her defensive dominance in Right & left field with a 1.000 fielding percentage.

2019 (Freshman)
As a freshman, Mariah started 43 of her 43 games played. She had collected 34 hits, with 5 triples 7 doubles, scoring 25 times and 17 RBI’s. While playing right field, she contributed with 34 putouts and 6 assists.

PRIOR TO UMARY
High School
A native of El Paso, Texas. As a four-year varsity starter for Andress High School, Mariah had a .578 batting average and 60 stolen bases over her career. She was a four-time All-District athlete as well as an Academic All-Star playing center field and shortstop. Mariah was a team leader and helped lead her high school to a district championship.

The daughter of John and Celine Sanchez, Mariah is majoring in biology with an emphasis in pre-med.
