MINOT, ND –
Rachael Laetsch hit two home runs as The University of Mary softball team fell to Bemidji State University 10-4.
BSU scored four runs in the top of the first inning on three hits. The Beavers then added on one more run in the top of the third and fourth innings.
The Marauders got on the board in the bottom of the fourth after Laetsch homered to center field making the score 6-1.
After
Kasidy Chileen reached on a single and
Haley Berube walked, Laetsch came up to the plate again. The senior out of Salem, SD, hit her second home run of the game to bring the game to 6-4.
PIVOT POINT
The Beavers responded to Chileen's second home run as they would go on to score four runs in the top of the seventh to give BSU a 10-4 lead.

Rachael Laetsch went 2-for-3 with two home runs and 4 RBIS. This was the senior's first time hitting a home run for the Marauders.

The Marauders will play their final game in their four-game road trip to Minot, ND, as they will take on Northern State University on Sunday at 7 am.
