Reece Barnhardt finished runner-up in the 133-pound weight class on the final day of the Midwest Classic. The University of Mary wrestling team (3-0, 1-0 Northern Sun) finished the tournament in a tie for sixth out of 42 teams with a team score of 83.
Reece Barnhardt (133) won his semi-finals matchup against Drury University's Brandon Borlinghaus via a 9-6 decision. The freshmen then fell in his first-place match by a 6-4 decision to Colorado Mesa University's Collin Metzgar.

Max Bruss (174) took fourth at the Midwest Classic. Bruss won his consolation semi-final matchup over Ashland University's Daniel Beemer by a 9-3 decision. Bruss would then be defeated in his third-place match by Brock Biddle (Pitt.-Johnstown) via a pinfall at the 1:50 mark.

Braydon Huber (157) lost his semi-finals in a close match to Adams State University's Josiah Rider via a 4-3 decision. Huber then responded with an 11-2 major decision victory over Gannon University's Nick Young in his fifth-place match.
Leo Mushinsky took seventh place after winning his final match over the University of Central Missouri's Emmett Kuntz by a 5-2 decision.
Matthew Kaylor (197) placed seventh after winning his final matchup over Ashland's Walker Uhl via a medical forfeit.
Gerardo Jaime (285) took eighth place after falling to Lindenwood University's Michael Kramer via a pinfall at the 0:37 mark.
