BISMARCK, ND –The University of Mary volleyball team (6-22, 3-16 Northern Sun) showed great determination as the Marauders fell in four sets to #14 Concordia University, St. Paul (21-7, 15-4 NSIC). This is the third time in 21 games that UMary has taken a set off CSP.
The first set was an exciting back and forth contest that saw both teams exchange leads. After trailing the Marauders 22-19, the Golden Bears would win six out of the next seven points to win 25-23.
UMary trailed CSP early in the second set 6-0. The Marauders would make a ferocious comeback and would take the set 25-21 over the 14
th ranked team in the country.
The Golden Bears would regain control in the third set, winning 25-19. CSP would continue their great play in the fourth set as the Golden Bears would win 25-12.

Kaia Sueker had a team-high 21 digs while contributing four assists
Natalia Cruz had nine kills and five digs
Kameron Selvig led the team in assists with 32 while also earning ten digs
Maddie Cooper had 7 kills and 4 blocks
Alexandria Harper led the Marauders in blocks with 6
Emily Torborg had 5 kills and two blocks

Nehkyah Ellis had a double-double as she led the team in kills with 16 while also earning 15 digs.
