BISMARCK, ND –The University of Mary volleyball team (6-23, 3-17 Northern Sun) concluded their season in a defeat to Minnesota State University – Mankato (14-14, 9-11 NSIC). The Marauders honored their four seniors
Natalia Cruz,
Bailey Harms,
Kennedy Drewis and
Brittany Brusven for their achievements at UMary.
MSU took control early in the first set and would go on to win 25-15. The second set would play out similarly as the Marauders struggled to rally points together, losing 25-15.
The Mavericks led UMary 11-10 in the third set. MSU would then take over the match and go on to win the set 25-17.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Nehkyah Ellis led UMary in kills with nine while earning eight digs
Maddie Cooper had three kills and three blocks
Natalia Cruz led the team in digs with 10 while contributing seven kills
Kaia Sueker had six digs and four assists
Kameron Selvig was the team leader in assists with 22 and had 6 digs
Chloe Lieser had six digs and two aces.
