BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary volleyball team (3-12, 0-6 Northern Sun) came up short in their match against #7 Wayne State College (11-2, 5-1 NSIC).
The Marauders dropped the first set to the Wildcats 25-14. WSC then took home the second set 25-11.
UMary attempted to rally back in the third set but the top-ranked Wildcat offense was too much as WSC won 25-17.
"I was proud of our relentless defense tonight! Our block did a nice job of protecting the front line and our backrow worked hard around them. We continue to make positive steps forward each match," said head coach
Abby Pollart.
