Box Score ORLANDO, FL – The University of Mary's five match winning streak came to an end with a 7-0 loss to a very talented Carnegie Mellon team. With the loss the Marauders fall to 9-2 on the season. CMU, the fifth ranked NCAA Division III school in the nation, improved to 13-2 on the year.
CMU was able to claim number one and number two singles by a score of 6-0 to pick up the doubles point.
Tasha Dembo was in the most competitive match at number one singles. She would fall to Danna Taylor of CMU by a score of 6-7, 3-6.
UMary will look to bounce back against Rockhurst University on Monday, March 6 at 10:30 AM in Orlando, FL.
