Danielle Wolf led the way with a singles and doubles win for the Marauders. With today's win UMary improves to 7-1 on the season.
The Marauders earned the doubles point with wins at number one and two doubles.
Tasha Dembo and
Yusra Hegy earned a 6-4 win in number one doubles.
Danielle Wolf and
Jamie Stoppler won 6-4 at number two singles as well.
Yusra Hegy got the winning going in singles play for UMary. She picked up a 6-3, 7-5 win at number two singles.
Jamie Stoppler was next up, earning the win for the Marauders at number four singles. Stoppler claimed the 6-3, 6-2 win.
Tasha Dembo clinched the Marauders win with a come from behind victory. After dropping the first set 4-6, Dembo stormed back winning the final two sets 6-2, 6-3 to pick up the win.
Senior,
Danielle Wolf earned the victory at number five singles. With things even after a 6-1, 6-7 start, Wolf won in a super tiebreaker.
Kali Askvig closed out the match for UMary with a 6-4, 6-2 win at number six singles.
The Marauders will head to Florida next week for five matches between March 5-10.
