BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary tennis team hosts their final two home matches of the season this upcoming weekend. The Marauders will battle the University of Minnesota Duluth on Saturday, February 29 at 1 PM. They will follow that up with another 1 PM match on Sunday, March 1 against St. Cloud State. The Marauders will honor their lone senior Danielle Wolf on Sunday.
 
On Saturday, February 29 the Marauders tennis team will be hosting a kid's day prior to their match. The fun will take place from 11-11:45 with lunch provided afterwards courtesy of the BMTA. Come out and learn about the fun and friendly sport of tennis.
 
The UMary tennis team will be collecting food donations during both home matches this weekend. Donations will benefit the local soup kitchen here in Bismarck.
 
The Marauders come into the weekend with a 5-1 record. They will battle UMD (6-2) and SCSU (2-5).
 
The doubles team of Tasha Debmo and Yusra Hegy have begun their season 6-0 at number one doubles. Kali Askvig / Kelsey Lajom are 5-1 with Jamie Stoppler / Danielle Wolf also beginning 5-1.  
 
Tasha Dembo (no. 1) and Kelsey Lajom (no. 3) have both began the season 5-1 to lead the Marauders. Yusra Hegy is 4-2 at no. 2 singles. Jamie Stoppler is 3-1 at no. 4 singles.
 
Be sure to come out to the Capital Racquet and Fitness Center and cheer on your Marauders and honor their senior Danielle Wolf.
