WINONA, MN – The University of Mary tennis team hits the road to travel south to take on Winona State and Upper Iowa. The Marauders will take on the Warriors on Saturday, February 22 at 12:30 PM. They will follow that up with a matchup against Upper Iowa on Sunday, February 23 at 9:30 AM.
 
The Marauders come into the weekend with a 4-0 record, sweeping three of their first four opponents of the season.
 
Tasha Dembo has started out the season 4-0 at number one singles. Kelsey Lajom joins Dembo by starting 4-0, doing so at number three singles. Jamie Stoppler has a 2-0 start to the season at number four singles.
 
The teams of Tasha Dembo / Yusra Hegy, Jamie Stoppler / Danielle Wolf, and Kali Askvig / Kelsey Lajom have all started out doubles play 4-0.
 
Winona State will be a good test for the Marauders with the Warriors boasting a 3-1 record with their lone loss coming against defending NSIC champs, Augustana.
 
Upper Iowa has kicked off their season with a 1-3 record. The Peacocks victory was over St. Cloud State by a score of 4-3.
