NAMPA, ID – The University of Mary men's soccer team is back on the road after hosting a pair of home games on the University of Mary campus pitch. The Marauders will head west to battle Northwest Nazarene and Montana State – Billings. UMary will play NNU in Nampa, ID on Friday, September 27 at 6 PM. They follow that up with a rematch against MSUB on Sunday, September 23 at 3 PM in Billings, MT.
The Marauders will look to bounce back after an 0-6 start to the season.
First up, the Marauders take on the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks. NNU comes into the game against the Marauders with a 3-2 record, with a current two game winning streak. The Nighthawks have yet to win on their home pitch this season, having a 0-1 record.
The Marauders biggest rival, MSU Billings comes into the week with a 2-3-1 record. The Marauders will be eager to play the Yellowjackets again after a tough loss the last time they played. MSUB has a 1-1 record on their home pitch.
Blake Palmquist, Tresor Mugawaneza, Adam Stringer, and Joesph Frediani have all recorded a goal on the season.
Palmquist and Stanley Joseph each have an assist on the season.
Stanley Josesph, Tresor Mugawaneza, Keaton Boehm, and Evandro Henrique are all tied for the team lead with four shots on goal.
Mugawaneza leads the team with a total of 12 shots.
