UMary Men’s Soccer Set to Play South Dakota School of Mines and Humboldt State This Week

BISMARCK, ND ­-- The University of Mary men's soccer team wraps up their four-game road stretch with two away matches this week. UMary will get play going on Wednesday, September 11 at 1 PM CST against South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City, SD. They will follow that up with a neutral site match on Sunday, September 15 at 2 PM against Humboldt State in Billings, MT.

The Marauders enter this week's games with a 0-2 record and will be looking to bounce back in a big way.

UMary will first battle the Hardrockers in a road contest. SDMT comes into the game with an 0-1 record, dropping their first game of the season to Texas A&M International. Since 2012, the Marauders are 8-0-2 against the Hardrockers. The Marauders most recent win against them came in the 2018 season opener at home in Bismarck. UMary took down SDMT by a score of 2-0 in front of a record crowd of 526. UMary is 2-0-1 on the Hardrockers home pitch.

Humboldt State will make the long journey from Arcata, CA to battle the Marauders in a neutral site match in Billings, MT. HSU comes into the week with a 1-1 record. The Jacks opened up the season with a 4-3, overtime win over Dominican before falling 3-2 to Holy Names University.

Joseph Frediani leads the Marauders in goals early on in the season. Frediani scored his first career goal against Texas A&M International. Stanley Joseph recorded the assist on the play.
